In 2017 we were engaged to help promote the second series of Amazon Prime’s The Grand Tour.

The Brief – Facilitate a race between 4 of Twitter’s biggest Creators. Along the way you will visit some of the most iconic F1 tracks where you will create fast car challenges for the celebrities.

The Cars – BMW i3s, powered by 6.2 million Twitter followers.

The Track – 13,400 miles in length. Starting in Edinburgh and crossing 10 countries in 10 days with the chequered flag being waved in Mexico city.

Our team of Project Managers took care of:

  • Ideation and Creative treatment
  • Event, activity and challenge design
  • Route planning, including recce
  • Design and creation of branding
  • Sourcing and wrapping 21 vehicles
  • Arranging specialist insurance, on and off track, for non-EU drivers
  • Working with the relevant Police, Military and Local Council departments to approve drone flight plans and filming permits at iconic locations
  • Creation of individual risk assessments for the road trip and each individual in-car challenge
  • Arranging all venues, accommodation, catering, flights and travel for the 41 man team
  • Full on-site event management

It goes without saying that all of this took place safely, on time and on budget.

Police Product and Technical Day

We were engaged to supply all Police Forces in the UK with a technical and product day at Rockingham Motor Circuit.

The objective was to showcase the capabilities, robustness and safety features of the Peugeot product range which was being considered to fulfill the roles of Interceptor cars, Patrol cars and rural off-road vehicles.

Interceptor Cars

Our ARDS qualified instructors were in-car with both Police Officers and Technicians putting the Peugeot 308 GTi through an 8 hour rigorous test involving high speed handling. This culminated in a carefully choreographed vehicle chase involving an interceptor car and a marked Police car chasing the ‘bad guy’….The bad guy lost of course!

Patrol Cars

A high adrenaline activity involving precision driving to demonstrate how well these vehicles perform in a relatively punishing urban environment. We created two identical tracks where drivers competed against each other for the fastest time. Rarely venturing out of 1st or reverse gears this was a true test of both the car and the driver’s power and handling capabilities.

Rural Capability

Our BARS accredited drivers lead a convoy of Peugeot 3008 SUVs and LCVs around a course normally reserved for 4x4s. Through car2car radios we carefully guided our guests through a challenging environment way in excess of normal daily operation. These vehicles were fitted with the latest Grip Control and Hill Descent technologies and performed magnificently, providing Police fleet managers with the ability to save money without compromising performance.

Alpine is back!

To help relaunch this legendary sports car marque we were engaged by Alpine to provide exhilarating drive experiences up the iconic hillclimb at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Our Pro-Drivers conducted risk assessments and prepared the vehicles to ensure guests experienced a safe and fun high speed demonstration.

Salon Prive is the most exclusive of garden parties set against the backdrop of one of England’s most elegant buildings, Blenheim Palace. Guests were welcomed by our Pro-Drivers and then taken on a 1-2-1 tour of the picturesque Cotswolds. These roads and routes were carefully planned to provide the ultimate driving experience whilst avoiding known congestion points and potential ‘black spots’.


#Test Drive From Your Drive

Working in collaboration with DS Automobiles we were tasked with creating a brand awareness experience for the super luxurious DS7 Crossback.

Recognising that sometimes customers aren’t able or willing to give up their time to investigate a new-to-market vehicle we decided to take the vehicle to them. At a location of their choice.

Utilising an online vehicle management system potential customers were able to book a time slot that was convenient to both them and their families, daytime or evenings.

Our product specialists literally had no agenda, deliberately putting the ball in the customer’s court and allowing them to tell us what was important to them.

The net result of this activity was that customers then felt confident enough to visit their local DS Store and configure their perfect car.


Pro-Drivers Racing

When you have a contact list full of the brightest motorsport talent, it makes sense to put them to good use! We started Pro-Drivers Racing as a showcase of our talents, both on the track and also, in the pits. Within 30 mins of taking to the track for the first time, we were leading and, in just our second race, we finished the 24 Hours of Spa in Belgium 6th in class, beating off 40+ cars with years of prior experience in the category.
